Job summary

The Queen's Medical Center is seeking Nursing Assistants for the Float Pool across multiple part-time shifts (24, 32, 36 hours) in Night, Day and Evening schedules. Responsibilities include patient care, transportation, and supply distribution within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Float Pool roles cover inpatient units, with emphasis on flexibility to support various departments. Prior nurse aide experience and BLS certification are preferred; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Minimum one year work experience as a Nurse Aide; or a Nurse Aide diploma/certificate.
• Diploma or certificate as a Medical Assistant/EMT/Patient Care Technician.
• Nurse student with clinical experience or RN with foreign license and acute care exp.
• Current BLS/HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to patient care, patient transport, and supply distribution.
• Follow Medical Center policies, procedures and regulations.
