Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Main Operating Room team. You will support patients and the surgical care team in a fast-paced environment, performing basic nursing procedures and comfort measures, while helping maintain safety and organization throughout the department.

Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the OR staff, and contribute to a smooth, patient-centered workflow during day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida CNA license or have a minimum of 2 years of CNA experience.
• BLS certification required.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Certified Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.

As part of the Main Operating Room team, you'll work alongside nurses and other members of the surgical care team while supporting the day-to-day needs of patients and the department.
