Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Operating Rooms Main team. The role provides hands-on patient care, assists with activities of daily living, and helps maintain a clean, safe environment essential to surgical care.

Shifts are days, four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call required weekends. Florida CNA license and BLS are required; English proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Post-high school specialized training required.
• Valid Florida CNA license required.
• BLS certification required.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN, the Certified Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living and helps provide a clean, comfortable and safe care environment.
