Essentia Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the team at St Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd/Baxter, MN. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, with duties that ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position requires a CNA credential or equivalent, BLS certification, and the ability to work 56 hours every two weeks with every other weekend and rotating 8-hour shifts (Day 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Evening 3:00 PM–11:30 PM).

Formación

• Must meet ONE of the following requirements: 6 months of patient care experience; Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program; Successful completion of EH provided Nursing Assistant training within one month of hire; Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program; Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to patients and assist with activities of daily living under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager.
• Take vital signs and document properly.
• Assist with transferring patients safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment to support healing.

Educación

6 months patient care experience
