Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River, MN is hiring a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) for the Transitional Care Unit. You will provide resident-centered care under a licensed nurse, support restorative programs, and document care and observations.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age, or older.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal cares for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provide Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
• Document cares provided and resident observations accurately.
• Assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Maintain a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
• Follow universal precautions, infection control guidelines, and safety standards.
• Comply with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
• Uphold confidentiality as required by policy and HIPAA.
