Job summary

Nicolet College is seeking a Nursing Assistant Instructor to provide classroom, lab, and clinical instruction. The LTE appointment covers Rhinelander Campus and outreach/clinical locations with variable hours.

Responsibilities include developing performance-based instruction, maintaining syllabi, using technology to enhance learning, and guiding students toward nursing career opportunities. Requires active WI RN license and relevant teaching/clinical experience.

Qualifications

• ADN required for consideration.
• Two years (4,000 hours) RN work experience with at least one year (2,000 hours) in long-term care, last five years.
• Current active RN license or unencumbered privilege to practice in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction using state-aligned curriculum.
• Develop/maintain syllabi and curriculum; provide timely feedback and assess students.
• Maintain office hours; utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support student retention and guide academic/career pathways in nursing assistant programs.
• Participate in professional development and service to the college.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Master’s Degree or Higher
