Job summary

Lahey Clinic is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with ADLs, take vital signs, and help ensure safe, compassionate care for patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Role focuses on basic personal care, nutrition support, infection control, and assisting with orientation of new staff. Requires high school diploma and BLS certification, with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS required.
• Skills: basic reading, writing and math.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and complete all aspects of activities of daily living.
• Take and record vital signs and report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Assist with nutrition, room service, and feeding as required.
• Support infection control and safety practices in daily routines.
• Assist with orientation of new Nursing Assistant colleagues and other unit-based tasks.
