Job summary

Avalon Care Center Yakima is seeking qualified Nursing Assistants with an active NAR and completed CNA courses. Work as a Nursing Assistant while you wait for your CNA license to become active. Earn $19.00 per hour with full-time benefits and opportunities to grow within Avalon Health Care Yakima.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Nurse Assistant Registration (NAR).
• CNA courses completed and clinicals.
• Must obtain CNA certification within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Ambulate residents and assist with transfers.
• Provide proper feeding techniques and postural support.
• Deliver restorative and rehabilitative nursing care.
• Respond to resident needs and communicate with the care team.
