The Nursing Assistant (CNA) on UnityPoint Health's Neuro/Med-Surgical unit provides basic nursing assistant procedures under supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA must practice medical asepsis, respect patient dignity and privacy, and follow hospital safety policies within their scope of training.

Position is nights, 8- and 12-hour shifts with occasional weekend and holiday rotation, 0.6 FTE (approximately 24 hours per week).

Qualifications

• CPR certification or eligibility.
• State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing assistant care under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy; practice medical asepsis.
• Adhere to hospital safety policies and your scope of training.
