Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Neuro/Med-Surgical unit. The role involves basic nursing assistant duties under RN supervision, with a focus on patient dignity, asepsis, and safety. The CNA will work on an overnight rotation with weekends and holidays as needed.

The position is non-benefit eligible with 12 hours per week and requires Wisconsin CNA certification and CPR certification or eligibility. Orientation week is scheduled 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must have Wisconsin CNA certification.
• CPR certification current or eligible.
• Available for CNA orientation during first week (8:00 AM–4:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing assistant procedures with medical asepsis and maintains patient dignity and privacy.
• Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to complete assigned tasks.
• Assists on Neuro/Med-Surgical unit with care for neurological, medical, and surgical patients.
