Job summary
UnityPoint Health–Meriter in Madison, WI is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 0.7 FTE PM shift on an 8-hour schedule with occasional weekend and holiday rotation. The CNA provides basic nursing care under RN supervision, practicing medical asepsis and maintaining patient dignity and privacy.
Join a 35-bed Med/Surgical unit with diverse patients in general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, ENT and plastics.
Qualifications
- State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- CPR certification or eligible for certification
Responsibilities
- Performs basic nursing assistant procedures taught during training
- Maintains patient dignity and privacy and adheres to safety policies under RN supervision
- Completes assigned tasks within scheduled shift on Med/Surgical unit
