Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Full Time Night shift Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist in delivering patient care under licensed nurses, perform vital signs, and document in EMR.

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certifications are preferred. The role supports quality care and teamwork within a faith-based, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
• 1+ applicable PCT experience (Preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Accurately takes vital signs and documents in EMR per policy.
• Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies within scope.
• Supports quality standards and performance improvement initiatives.

• Assists in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record Documents and reports all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.
• Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Functions appropriately within scope in clinical emergencies.
• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred]
