Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking a Nurse Assistant/PCT to support patient care during night shifts. Under licensed supervision, you will take vital signs, document in the EMR, and assist with routine patient care while adhering to department policies.

Required High School Graduate or Equivalent; CNA certification preferred. 1+ PCT experience is preferred, with full-time hours and competitive night-shift pay.

• Performs patient care under the direction of licensed staff.
• Accurately records vital signs in the EMR.
• Follows department policies and procedures.

• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record Documents and reports all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.
• Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Functions appropriately within scope in clinical emergencies
• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.
