Job summary

AdventHealth Lenexa is hiring a Full Time Day shift Patient Care Technician/Certified Nurse Assistant to support daily patient care under licensed nurses. You will take vitals, document in the EMR, and assist with routine procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, BLS certification. Preferred: 1+ PCT experience, CNA, CPCT/A or EMT certifications. Join a team that values compassionate care and professional growth.

• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record Documents and reports all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.


• Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.


• Functions appropriately within scope in clinical emergencies


• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports quality standards and initiatives.

Education

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience

• 1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]


• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]
