Job summary

Regency Hospital - Minneapolis is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Golden Valley, MN for full-time days and nights. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour based on years of experience. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (3+ years experience) and BLS within 90 days of hire. Preferred candidates have hospital NA experience or CNA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years) required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
