Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Wisconsin to provide essential bedside care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA performs basic nursing procedures learned in training, practices medical asepsis, protects patient dignity and privacy, and follows safety policies and hospital guidelines.

Shift options are 8-hour days or evenings with no weekends or holidays, part-time 20 hours per week, and compensation of $21.04 per hour.

Qualifications

• State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current CPR certification or eligible for certification
• Must be available the first week of employment from 8AM - 4:30PM for CNA orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing assistant procedures as taught in training and certification.
• Maintain medical asepsis and patient dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and complete assigned tasks within the shift.

The CNA is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy of every patient, maintain objectivity during patient care, adhere to basic hospital safety policies and procedures, and practice within their scope of training. The CNA works under the close supervision of the Registered Nurse. The CNA receives specific work assignments that are both written and oral with the expectation to complete the work assignment within their scheduled shift.
