Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant for the Short Stay Unit in Elizabethtown, KY. The full-time night shift (7p–7a) provides age-appropriate patient care under RN supervision, focusing on safety, hygiene, mobility, and vital signs documentation.

Responsibilities include accurate measurements, hourly rounds, and assisting with activities, while meeting BLS requirements within 90 days of hire. Prior CNA experience is preferred; High School diploma or GED required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Obtains and documents patient height and weight on admission.
• Turns and positions patients every 2 hours.
• Assists patients with activity, ambulation, and chair/other activities.
• Assists with personal hygiene (showering, bathing, shaving, etc.).
• Takes and records vital signs accurately.
• Conducts hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
