Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in nursing with Fundamentals of Nursing completed.
• One of the pathways: foreign-trained RN without MI license, Medical Assistant program, or 1 year in a similar role.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in a similar role.
• Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
