Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Assistant (32 Hours) to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will assist with basic patient care, respond to emergent situations, and contribute to a safe, comfortable hospital environment.

Ideal candidates have a completed Nurse Assistant program or are enrolled in a nursing program, with CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or current enrollment in a nursing program is acceptable; other healthcare pathways are also considered.
• CN A certification is preferred.

• Perform specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in an NA, PCT, PAT, or similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
