Job summary

Temple Health seeks a Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses by performing delegated patient care tasks and contributing to the hospital's Customer Service Program.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; Nursing Assistant program completion or nursing student with clinical rotations is acceptable. BLS is required, CNA preferred; 1 year of nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant program completion or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year nursing assistant experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• CNA preferred.

Job description

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.
