Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Float Team on the Jeanes Campus for a full-time 7:00 pm–7:30 am shift. The role supports the RN by performing delegated patient care activities and upholding Temple Health's Customer Service standards.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or be a nursing student with clinical rotation, and BLS certification; CNA preferred.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
