Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant at the Jeanes Campus in Northeast Philadelphia to support the 3C Med Surg unit with a 36-hour day shift (7am–7:30pm). You will assist the RN in routine patient care tasks and contribute to a patient-centered service culture.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or be a nursing student with clinical rotation. BLS is required; CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation is required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the RN with patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Incorporate the hospital's Customer Service Program into patient care.
• Be accountable to the Nurse Manager for all activities.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience
1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses
Basic Life Support Required
Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
