Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Nursing Assistant 2W for full-time day/night rotation in New York, NY 14456. Pay ranges from $736 to $840 weekly. Must work 3x12s, including weekends, holidays, and be willing to float to SSMH as needed.

Ideal candidates have a BLS certification and a high school diploma with healthcare exposure. CNA candidates are encouraged to apply; strong communication and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required (AHA or RQI)
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Health/Human Services preferred
• 1-2 years customer service and/or healthcare-related experience (Med/Surg, ED, ICU preferred)
• CNA candidates accepted
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic computer skills
• Ability to care for pediatric through geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care including ADLs, vital signs, mobility, and hygiene
• Assists with feeding, nutrition, and hourly rounding
• Performs patient repositioning, skin care, and safety measures
• Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient condition
• Supports transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices per care plan
• Works collaboratively with the care team to maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety
