Job summary

HiredFirst in New York is seeking a Part-Time CNA to provide direct patient care under nursing supervision. You will assist with ADLs, take vital signs, and document care while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Shifts are 2x12s (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM / 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM); weekends and holidays rotation required. Local CNAs accepted; exposure to bloodborne pathogens possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary health/human services preferred.
• 1–2 years healthcare or customer service experience; Med/Surg/ED/ICU preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility) and patient comfort.
• Take and document vital signs; report changes in patient condition.
• Support nutrition needs, meal setup, and feeding assistance.
• Assist with positioning, ambulation, ROM, and safety measures.
• Perform rounding, respond to call lights, and document care accurately.
• Float to SSMH as needed.

Pay: $736 – $840/week

Requirements

Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Flexible day/night scheduling based on unit needs

Local candidates and CNAs accepted
