Job Description: Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff, along with specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all patient care activities. Reports to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Trade School: Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation (Required)
• A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience

• 1 Year experience in a Nursing Assistant role (Preferred)

License/Certifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
