Job summary

Temple Health seeks a Nursing Assistant for the 2C Med Surg unit at Jeanes who will assist RNs in providing patient care and ensure excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have completed a Nursing Assistant program and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

• 1 Year experience in a Nursing Assistant role preferred.
• Must be a current nursing student or have completed a Nursing Assistant Program.
• Certifications in BLS and CNA are preferred.

• Incorporates customer service concepts into patient care.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.


Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Trade School : Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation (Required)

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.


Experience

1 Year experience in a Nursing Assistant role (Preferred)

License/Certifications

BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)


CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
