Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant for 12-hour day shifts on a 36-hour weekly schedule. You will provide patient-centered care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, focusing on neuro and general Med-Surg patients.

The role requires assisting with basic health care needs, documenting vital statistics, and preparing treatment areas while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• If ND and not a CNA, must be on the North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry within four months from employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Prepare patient treatment areas and maintain equipment; dispose of biomedical waste.
