Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Performs documentation in the patient’s record.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; participates in quality assurance.
• Communicates information intradepartmentally and interdepartmentally.
• Assists with staff education and continuing education for personal development.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Provides nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using equipment.
• Responds to patient call lights and requests promptly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute:

• Provides direct patient care
• Performs specific documentation in the patient's record
• Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance
• Communicates appropriate information intradepartmental and interdepartmental
• Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients, utilizing appropriate policies and procedures
• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
