Base pay range: $37,096.00/yr - $60,560.00/yr
Nursing Assistants at this grade level function as a member of the nursing care team, assisting licensed nursing staff in caring for patients receiving preventative, acute, subacute, chronic, maintenance, and hospice care. Patient assignments typically involve more complex nursing needs, which can vary within a range of predictable to unpredictable requirements. NAs at this level also take on peer education and mentorship roles.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Full-Time 8/12 Hour Shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to work other shifts, be on call, and support other units as needed.

Basic requirements include U.S. citizenship, six months of general experience or related education/training, and proficiency in English. Additional qualifications vary by grade (GS-3 to GS-5), with specific experience and education requirements outlined.
