The role requires an RN license in Mississippi and an ADN (with preferred BSN), plus clinical experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

Must have and maintain an unencumbered RN license in Mississippi.
Associates Degree in Nursing.
Three years of clinical RN experience or two years as nursing/allied health faculty.
CPR certification required.
Background checks and immunizations may be required.

Responsibilities

Teaches nursing students the occupational competencies for employment.
Prepares course outlines and detailed lesson plans for each instructional course.
Maintains a safe and well-equipped laboratory environment and manages equipment inventory.
Assists in development of curriculum and budget for the program.
Counsels students and helps them secure employment in the nursing field.
Participates in faculty committees and attends meetings and workshops.
