Responsibilities

• Teach occupational competencies for employment.
• Prepare outlines for each course/program.
• Create detailed lesson plans, job sheets and labs.
• Update curriculum to keep program current.
• Track student progress in the program.
• Instruct related subject matter and supervise labs.
• Schedule courses for each semester.
• Select instructional materials (textbooks, AV materials).
• Request supplies and instructional materials timely.
• Complete enrollment and follow-up reports.
• Help develop annual instructional budget.
• Maintain safe, clean lab environment.
• Recommend equipment purchases and inventory control.
• Ensure equipment operates with preventive maintenance.
• Participate in craft committee; visit industry for job rapport.
• Advise and counsel students; aid in employment search.
