Job summary

Vintage Gardens, a Sonida Senior Living community, invites empathetic Nursing Aides to join our team in St. Joseph, MO. We provide a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.

In this role you will assist with activities of daily living, support medications and treatments, and help create a comfortable, respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
