Job summary

The Addison of St. Johns, part of Sonida Senior Living, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. You will support dressing, grooming, bathing, and transfers, and assist with dining and daily activities.

Shifts include days, evenings, and nights with full-time, part-time, and PRN options. We offer education support, paid time off, and growth opportunities. Must be Florida-licensed CNA, 18+, high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a CNA in Florida.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers.
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, setting tables, serving meals, and monitoring fluid intake.
• Reminds residents to take medications and opens containers as needed.
• Reports changes in residents' conditions to the Assisted Living Director.

THE SHIFTS:

• Days: [6:00a - 2:30p],
• Evenings: [2:00p - 10:30p],
• Nights: [10:00p - 6:30a],
• [Full-time, part-time, and PRN options available]

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required
• Required license/certification, if applicable
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
