Job summary

The Waterford at West Bend in West Bend, WI is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide warm, safe, and attentive care to residents. You will work on-site with the Nursing team at The Waterford at West Bend, delivering compassionate daily care and fostering a welcoming living environment.

Starting rate is $18.00 per hour. The shifts include evenings (2p-10p) with additional weekend options. Opportunities for training, certification support, and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Wisconsin as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in senior living/healthcare or guest service is a plus but not required.
• Maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and transfers.
• Support needs during meals and dining, including proper hydration.
• Remind residents to take medications and assist with opening containers.
• Report health changes to the Assisted Living Director.

Resident Assistant | Starting $18/hour | West Bend, WI

THE JOB: As a Certified Nursing aide, you'll help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for our residents. With your kindness, attention to detail, and dependable teamwork, you'll make a difference from the moment your shift begins. Working closely with the team at The Waterford at West Bend, you'll play a key role in delivering the exceptional care and experience that defines our community.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.00 per hour

THE SHIFTS:

• Evenings: [2p-10p], [Every Friday and Every Other Weekend)
• [Also PRN/Casual positions available!]

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required
• Required license/certification, if applicable
• A caring attitude and reliable attendance
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
