Job summary

The Addison of Gulf Breeze, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and ensure dignity and safety. You will support meals, mobility, and help with activities, in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in nursing or senior living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living and medications as directed.
• Escort residents inside and outside as needed.
• Assist with setting up and serving meals and cleaning up.
• Help plan and run activities for residents on a scheduled basis.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities Include

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
