Job summary

The Addison of Oakleaf, a Sonida Senior Living community in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Aide to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate care. You will work closely with the care team to promote independence and safety in an independent living, assisted living, and memory care environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications and treatments as directed, escorting residents, helping with meals, and supporting activity planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in nursing or senior living preferred.
• Able to lift residents and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
