Job summary

The Addison of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community in Grayson, GA, is seeking a Nursing Aide to support residents in assisted living and memory care. You will assist with daily living activities, medications, meals, and activities while promoting dignity and independence.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and preferably experience in nursing or senior living. Excellent compassion and teamwork are essential to provide high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
