Job summary

The Addison of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist residents with daily living activities, medication support, and mobility in a warm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge/experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience in nursing or senior living preferred
