Crouse Health in Syracuse, NY, is seeking an Administrative Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing and ancillary staff across departments. The role involves leadership, coordination, and ensuring safe patient care aligned with the plan of care.

The position runs 8:00pm-8:00am and 4:00pm-12:00am with rotating holidays, weekends, and other shifts as needed; pay range is $108,000-$116,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently registered professional nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s in Nursing preferred.
• Must possess 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the provision of safe nursing care for all patients reflective of the plan of care through assessment, intervention and evaluation.
• Participates in development and implementation of standards for nursing action and in the evaluation of those standards through process and outcome audits.
• Thoroughly assess patient conditions and specialized nursing care needs.
• Maintains an awareness of the patients’ and families’ psychological and physical needs by promoting total care.
• Demonstrates excellent nursing clinical knowledge.
