Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to oversee hospital and department operations and provide administrative leadership in the absence of senior leadership. The role requires a nursing background with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualified candidates hold an AAS (BSN preferred) and at least 3 years of acute care nursing experience, with supervisory experience considered a plus. Licensure and certifications related to nursing are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science (AAS) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Demonstrates leadership, motivational skills, emotional maturity and the ability to function effectively under stress.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, program development and project management skills.
• Possesses group facilitation and/or team building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Supervisor shares in coordination, responsibility and accountability of all Hospital/Departmental operations providing administrative oversight in the absence of Administration and Department leaders.
