Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking an on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate staffing on a shift-to-shift basis, and work with Admissions and Bed Control to maintain flow and surge capacity.

You will represent leadership in the absence of Administration and coordinate disaster plan activation. This role requires a sound nursing practice knowledge and exceptional leadership abilities, with a focus on patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency is required.

Responsabilités

• Promote and maintain quality patient care on assigned shift.
• Plan and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to facilitate flow.
• Monitor bed availability and implement surge capacity measures as needed.

Plans, directs, and coordinates with Admissions and Bed Control to facilitate flow, providing optimum service to all Piedmont customers. Monitoring bed availability and implementing surge capacity measures as needed. Supervision of the nursing staff and coordination of staffing on a shift-to-shift basis. Is the designated on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours. Responsible for the assessment of all requests for administrator-on-call contact during his/her shift. Responsible for all activities within the hospital in the absence of Administration and/or department directors. Works under the direction of the Administrator on-call to determine the activation of the disaster plan and coordinates related activities. Rounds and maintains open communication with all staff. This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing practice and exceptional leadership abilities.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree /Master's degree in Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required


• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required


• ACLS Preferred


• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Preferred


• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Preferred
