Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking an experienced nurse leader to oversee patient care quality and safety on the assigned shift. You will plan, direct, and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to optimize patient flow and bed availability, while supervising nursing staff and staffing on a shift-to-shift basis.

This role serves as the designated on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours and handles administrator-on-call requests.

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse required for licensure in Georgia.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate shift staffing.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program Required
• Bachelor's Degree /Master's degree in Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting Required
• Demonstrated clinical competency Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ACLS Preferred
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Preferred
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Preferred
