Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking an experienced nurse administrator to oversee hospital operations on the Macon campus. The role emphasizes leadership, patient safety, and staffing coordination across shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality care, and coordinating with Admissions and Bed Control to manage bed capacity. The administrator-on-call after hours will guide disaster response when needed.

Competenze

• Graduation from a nursing program required.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• RN Georgia licensure and/or multi-state licensure required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS, PALS and NRP are preferred.

Mansioni

• Promote and maintain quality patient care ensuring safety and well-being of all patients throughout the organization on assigned shift.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates with Admissions and Bed Control to facilitate flow and provide optimum service to Piedmont customers.
• Monitor bed availability and implement surge capacity measures as needed.
• Supervise the nursing staff and coordinate staffing on a shift-to-shift basis.
• Act as the designated on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours and coordinate disaster plan activation.
