Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (or expect to graduate within one year).
• Two years (4,000 hours) of paid work experience related to the program(s) being taught, including one year (2,000 hours) of paid work experience acquired within the past five years.
• Two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the past five years may be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and facilitate learning in the assigned courses according to the College’s core values.
• Meet student learning needs by incorporating a variety of teaching methods and assessments.
• Maintain student confidentiality and submit grades within the expected timeframe.
• Provide timely verbal and written feedback to students to ensure growth and development.
• Assist with curriculum development and promotion of College programs and services.
• Maintain relationships with K-12, DOC, community, and industry partners beyond the classroom.
