Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach for 8 or 16 week contracts each semester. You will create learning environments and provide instruction aligned with syllabi while assessing student progress.

Responsibilities include delivering classes, using technology, developing outlines and materials, maintaining records, and adhering to FERPA and college policies. RN licensure and advanced nursing degrees are required for ASN faculty.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
• Conducts all activities with appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.
• Minimum qualifications include RN license and nursing education requirements for ASN faculty.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students in meaningful ways that impact learning and align with FERPA and college policies.
• Interacts with students and co-workers professionally and complies with campus guidelines.
