Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana is seeking adjunct nursing instructors to deliver assigned classes, align with syllabus, and assess student performance within college policy. This position emphasizes clinical teaching, use of technology, and ongoing curriculum development.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, maintaining records, and promoting engaging teaching strategies while upholding FERPA and safety standards across classrooms and labs.

Qualificações

• Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in Indiana.
• Has a minimum of one year of licensed nursing experience.
• Has completed Indiana Department of Health Train-the-Trainer.
• One of the following: Completed the required state training including adult learning theory or holds a Workplace Specialist License in Health Science.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers assigned classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students to create a positive learning experience and implement active teaching strategies focusing on engagement.
• Interacts with students and co-workers professionally, complies with College policies and guidelines.
• Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and learning environments.
