Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College – Terre Haute Campus is seeking Adjunct Faculty for our School of Nursing to teach in a classroom environment or clinical site. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.

Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.

Qualifications

• Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
• Demonstrates appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity in people, styles, and views.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; keep accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students with active teaching strategies to enhance learning and ensure a positive experience for Ivy Tech.
• Interact professionally with students and coworkers while complying with college policies and FERPA.
