Job summary

South College in Knoxville, TN seeks a Manager of Nursing Academic Specialist Coaching to lead the NAS team and coach nursing students toward success.

You will supervise NAS staff, drive professional development, ensure licensure compliance, and analyze retention data to guide program improvements. This on-site role collaborates with faculty and administration to strengthen nursing education and outcomes.

Qualifications

Master’s or higher degree in nursing is required.
Minimum three years of full-time clinical RN experience.
Experience as an educator in post-secondary education required.
Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, supervision, and support to the NAS team for high-quality coaching.
Oversee professional development of NAS staff and licensure renewals.
Track retention metrics and report data-driven insights.
Collaborate with faculty, administration, and students on interventions.
Coordinate NCLEX preparation materials and assess effectiveness.
Perform annual performance reviews and provide coaching.
Develop student workshops and 1:1 nursing concept support.
