Job summary

Orbis Education seeks Nursing Clinical Instructors for the ABSN program in Norfolk, VA. In this role you will support clinical education and supervise students at partner facilities, guiding psychomotor skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking.

Ideal candidates hold a Virginia (or compact state) RN license, a BSN, and are pursuing an MSN with at least two years of teaching and two years of clinical nursing experience. Shifts run 8–12 hours in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Virginia or a compact state.
• Two years of clinical nursing practice must be demonstrated.
• Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• Ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in clinical settings.

We are seeking highly energetic, Nursing Clinical Instructors for an Accelerated Bachelor of Science of Nursing program in Norfolk, VA.

As a Nursing Clinical Instructor and faculty member, the primary responsibility is the clinical education of the students in the ABSN program. Clinical Instructors are assigned teaching responsibilities in a clinical area at our partner health care facilities in the Norfolk area and are expected to contribute to the education of the students including psychomotor skills, standards of practice, and critical thinking. • Preferred: Two years of teaching experience
• Master’s degree in nursing
