Job summary

Guardian Selection Limited is seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing nursery setting in Stockton-on-Tees. You will support young children through play-based activities and work closely with the Early Years team to foster development and a safe learning environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in an Early Years setting, EYFS knowledge, and a caring, patient, and adaptable approach.

Qualifications

  • Have previous experience working with young children or within an Early Years setting.
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable).
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Be caring, patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be passionate about supporting children's early learning and development.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
  • Have a fully checkable work history.
